Little over a week ago I said I would post the various types of paper and speciality media that can be printed of the Epson Stylus Pro 9890.
Of course any pre coated ink jet paper from various vendors(Epson, HP, Canon, Canson Infinity, Hahnemühle, Moab, etc) can be printed off of this Epson printer with great results! We’re also able to print on papers that aren’t typically able to print off an inkjet printer with great results, as it stands alone. This is achievable by hand coating these papers with the same type of coating that comes on the pre coated papers for inkjet printers. Here is just a few non inkjet papers we’re able to print on due to hand coating these with a digital gesso ground.

The results we get with the coating on these papers come out great!
This Epson Stylus Pro model can also print onto Crescent Illustration Boards upwards of 1/8th inch thick! Other speciality media include Plastics, Sheets of Aluminum, Thin Woods, and Fabrics.
