Process of Digital Fine Art Giclée Reproduction

Here are the steps start to finish.

  • Send us your work to be scanned and color corrected, or send us a file that has been scanned and color corrected.
  • Here is our address Two Crows Printing 7 School St Bar Harbor, ME 04609, or you can upload your file right here, found under the request form.
  • When we scan the original on our side, we color correct and print proofs until we have your print as close to the original as possible.
  • When we receive a file that is scanned and color corrected by the artist we print a proof and if it matches what we’re seeing on screen, it will go to print production.
  • Next we print and cut down the prints to size indicated.
  • All print orders are shipped flat.

Prints are wrapped in a tissue paper and packaged in double thick corrugated cardboard.  We then wrap every package in a thick black butcher paper.  This ensures that the prints will not be damaged during shipping.

Shipping & Turn around

• All print orders are shipped USPS 2-3 day priority.  If you need express shipping please state that in the check out notes when placing your order (there is a separate fee for express that you will be charged after your order).

• Once the order has been submitted and we receive your original or a scanned file, we will follow up within 2/3 days to show you a digital mock up of what your Giclée print will look like.  After approval and payment it will be 1-2 weeks for your order to be completed.

• Need us to put some pep in our step with your print job?  We can do that for a fee. Rush fee’s start at $75, and will take about three to four days.
