Early September Johannes from Good Faith Tattoo contacted me about printing a 20 x 30″ that he painted and wanted the print on the same type of paper he painted his original on. The paper was BFK Rives Tan Printmaking paper. Normally you wouldn’t be able to print on this type of media and get a good result true to the original, but with the digital gesso coating I was able to duplicate his original on the same stock he painted it on.
This was the first time I had an order put in for printing on this type of media, and the results couldn’t have come out better.
